Recent Shelton Project: Leaking Shower Rebuilt in 4 Days
A Shelton homeowner called us after a shower installed by a previous contractor started leaking behind the tile. We tore it out to the studs, installed a complete Schluter waterproofing system, and retiled it with large format porcelain, a hexagon mosaic floor, a built-in bench, and a recessed niche, all in just 4 days.
Built for Shelton’s Homes
Many of Shelton’s older homes have subfloors and walls that have shifted over the decades. Before we lay a single tile, we check the substrate and correct any flex, unevenness, or moisture issues, because that is what keeps tile from cracking and grout from failing years later.
For newer homes and condos, many Shelton homeowners are upgrading builder-grade tile to large format porcelain or natural stone. These materials take careful leveling and the right setting materials, and that is our specialty.
